Barcelona, 20 May 2025<\/strong> \u2013 The global industrial group MatHolding, a leadingp rovider of solutions for efficient and sustainable agriculture and water management, closed the 2024 financial year with a 17% increase in consolidated turnover, reaching \u20ac406 million. EBITDA stood at \u20ac56 million\u2014up 40% from the previous year. These are the best results in the company\u2019s 90-year history, reinforcing its position as an international benchmark in both the agriculture and
\nwater sectors.
\nThe year 2024 was also a milestone in investment for MatHolding, with \u20ac45 million allocated to key strategic projects. These included the acquisition of the Quart de Poblet production plant by IQV, the purchase of Yamit and SI by STF, estate transformation projects under TerraNostra, and the launch of a new Aquestia plant in India.
\nSince 2019, sales have grown at an average annual rate of 9.4%, while EBITDA has increased by 18% per year.
\nHeadquartered in Parets del Vall\u00e8s (Barcelona), MatHolding generates 70% of its revenue from outside Spain. The group has a commercial presence in 140 countries and industrial operations in Spain, Israel, China, India, and the United States. It employs more than 1,200 people worldwide.

The group has structured its business into two main divisions: Agriculture (60% of revenue) and Water (40%). Both divisions saw strong growth in 2024, with agriculture up 23% and the water division growing by 20%.<\/p>\n

Cerestia: Integrating agricultural expertise and business excellence<\/strong>
\nTo meet the current and future challenges of the agriculture sector, MatHolding has
\nlaunched a new brand, Cerestia. The brand consolidates the agronomic expertise and business excellence of the group’s four agriculture-focused companies: IQV (a global leader in copper-based crop protection, founded in 1935); Regaber (a pioneer in precision irrigation in the Iberian Peninsula, established in 1980); TerraNostra (founded in 2022, focused on the transformation and modernisation of farms); and VEGGA (also created in 2022, a digital platform for agricultural
\nmanagement). Cerestia represents a unique, integrated approach to agricultural solutions.
\n\u201cThe agricultural sector is facing major challenges\u2014environmental, economic, and social\u2014at both national and international levels. These include digitalisation, efficient use of water and inputs, land and business consolidation, and generational renewal.

MatHolding: 90 Years of innovation in sustainable agriculture and water<\/strong>

\nMatHolding\u2019s roots trace back to Industrias Qu\u00edmicas del Vall\u00e9s (IQV), founded in 1935, marking the group\u2019s longstanding involvement in agriculture. In 1980, MatHolding introduced precision drip irrigation to Spain with the creation of Regaber.
\nOver the last decade, the group has significantly strengthened its position in water management through several strategic acquisitions: Dorot (Israel) in 2014; STF Filters (Spain) in 2017; OCV Control Valves (USA) in 2018 and ARI Flow Solutions (Israel) in 2020.
\nIn 2022, Dorot, ARI, and OCV merged under the unified brand Aquestia.
