MatHolding grows by 6% to reach €429 million in revenue in 2025
Barcelona, 15 April 2026. – The multinational industrial group MatHolding, a leader in solutions and technology for the sustainable and efficient management of agriculture and water, closed the 2025 financial year with a 6% increase in aggregate revenue, reaching €429 million. EBITDA stood at €65 million, up 16% on the previous year.
This represents the best result in the group’s 90-year history, since the founding in 1935 of IQV, the company at the origin of the group.
MatHolding organises its businesses into two main divisions, agriculture and water, accounting for 60% and 40% of total revenue respectively. In 2025, both divisions contributed to growth: the agriculture business grew by 10%, while the water division increased by 4%.
Over the past six years (since 2019), sales have grown at an average annual rate of 9%, while EBITDA has increased at an average annual rate of 17%.
In recent years, the group has maintained a strong pace of investment. In 2025, total investment reached €44 million, bringing the cumulative figure for the 2019–2025 period to €147 million. Notable highlights include the acquisition of Altinco, a biosolutions manufacturer, strengthening the capabilities of Cerestia, the group’s agriculture division. Improvements were also made across all of the group’s industrial capabilities.
Headquartered in Parets del Vallès, MatHolding has 18 industrial operations centres across 8 countries in Europe, Asia and the Americas, with local presence in 17 countries. The group generates 70% of its business outside Spain, with commercial presence in 140 countries. In 2025, MatHolding’s workforce grew by 6%, reaching 1,276 employees worldwide.
